Job Summary

2026 ESY - BCBA

(2 Positions - K-8)

Qualifications (Required):

  1. Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  2. Successful experience as a BCBA
  3. Experience modifying and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans for students within sub-separate and inclusion classes.
  4. Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents and administrators.
  5. Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  1. Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
  2. ESL Licensed or SEI Endorsement.
  3. Licensed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in two staff development meetings.
  2. Collaborate with the Program Managers/Coordinator to plan and implement ESY Curriculum.
  3. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
  4. Provide consultative BCBA services for students in the ESY Program.
  5. Update BSP as necessary.
  6. Plan and oversee the development and implementation of classroom and individual programs related to instruction using the principles of ABA for students with autism and other disabilities.
  7. Collect data and prepare reports including progress reports for the purpose of documenting case history.
  8. Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.

Duration:

  • Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following:
    • Professional In-service Day (Date TBD 3 hours).
    • 18 days Monday-Thursday from July 6 August 6 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).

Stipend: $40 an hour $4120 total (20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice at 3 hours)

Funding Source: Special Education
