Are you a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the Azure data stack and a passion for building scalable data-driven platforms in complex enterprise environments Do you enjoy working with technologies such as Azure Databricks Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Then we are looking for you!
Core responsibilities include
Develop production-grade Azure data platforms and PoCs
Build and orchestrate data pipelines
Work with ADLS Gen2 and Parquet
Develop with Azure Databricks (Spark)
Design analytics with Azure Synapse
Orchestrate flows with Azure Data Factory
Integrate via Azure API Management
Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices
Hands-on experience designing implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep and Azure Resource Manager)
Communicate technical concepts clearly
Diagnose and resolve data issues efficiently
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams
Adapt quickly to new tools and changing requirements
Take full ownership of data infrastructure
Required technical skills
5 years of experience as Data Engineer
Strong Azure data stack knowledge: Azure Data Lake storage Parquet file format Azure Databricks Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory and Azure API Management
Understanding of a Data Mesh Architecture
Strong knowledge of PySpark Python
Strong knowledge of querying data on distributed data cluster
DevOps mindset IaC Git CI/CD
Azure certifications preferred Data engineering/solution architect certificate
Financial Services experience is a plus
Distributed data management including compute and memory management
