- Compensation: Starting at $22/hour commensurate with experience
How you will make an impact
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to evaluate residents current health and functional abilites.
- Design and implement individualizes exercise programs incorporating flexibility strength training and cardiovascular conditioning.
- Instruct and educate members on proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and maximize results.
- Support the coordination and delivery of community-wide wellness programs and initiatives.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe fitness environment for all residents.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and staff motivating and encouraging active lifestyles.
- Lead engaging group exercise classes tailored to varying ability levels.
- Provide specialized training for clients with diverse medical conditions and cognitive impairments.
What you will need
- Minimum of 1-year related work experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
- Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
- Personal Training and/or Group Exercise Experience preferred
- Water Aerobics is a plus
