Job Summary
Our Dance Teachers impact students lives by:
- Delivering instruction in the classroom supporting student achievement and enrichment
- Long-term unit planning and daily lesson planning
- Quickly implementing feedback and goal-setting into lesson delivery
- Communicating with parents/guardians about student progress
- Adapting activities for scholars of all ages and abilities
- Collaborating with teaching staff
- Participating in the life of the school including student activities and events
- Maintaining a classroom culture conducive to student achievement
- Embodying advocating and operationalizing the mission vision and direction of the school
- Taking on other tasks as needed

- Required: Have a BA or BS Degree
- Preferred: Possess Louisiana Teacher Certification (or equivalent certification in another state)
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit stand walk talk hear kneel crouch operate a computer and other office equipment reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- This is an in-person role
