Title:Technology Specialist
This is an entry level Criminal Justice position
Starting Pay: $18.03/hr
Location: Golden CO
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
This position requires in-custody technology hookups in a jail setting.
OVERVIEW
This entry-level criminal justice position will monitorcaseload ofclients ordered to comply with Intervention technology including but not limited to electronic monitoringmonitored sobrietyand/or keeping and compliancereporting.
Support promote and adheretothemission values and Code ofConductof Intervention Inc.
ReflectIntervention to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
Meet with new clients and explain program rules and regulationsdeadlines andclientresponsibilities and expectations.
Enter client data into the Technology Management System and ICON.
Hookwearable technology on clients download information from wearable devices
Maintain complete accurate and timely case file both paper and electronic for each client on caseload.
Assess and collect client feesissue receipt to clients and secure payment appropriately
Work with probation staff and/or criminal justice personnel onclient issues and client staffing as directed by manager
Monitor drug and alcohol tests including UA monitoringof same sex clients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);and one year customerservice experience
- Computer skills -- Ability to enter data generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to remain calm in and de-escalate stressful situations
- Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff stakeholders and with diverse client base.
- Musthave ability to access state criminal databases
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to handle office traffic such as answering phones and dealing with walk in clients.
- Must be able to trouble shoot/problem solve.
