Job Summary

A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising operations of Food and Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.



What will I be doing

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will oversee the daily operations of Food and Beverage outlets to ensure exceptional service delivery. You will communicate and delegate tasks effectively to the team to achieve departmental goals. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Supervise daily operations of the bar and Food & Beverage outlets to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages including classic cocktails signature drinks and special guest requests
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of wine beer spirits and cocktail-making techniques

  • Communicate and delegate tasks effectively to the team
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards and operational procedures
  • Manage guest queries promptly and professionally
  • Represent team needs and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
  • Support training coaching and development of team members
  • Assist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
  • Comply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

  • Minimum 2 years experiences in leadership position within Food and Beverage department.
  • Strong knowledge of wine beer spirits and cocktail preparation.
  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to different work situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
