Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Weigh and purchase inbound scrap obtaining required information from customers for all transactions. Complete purchasing and shipping documents.
- Control traffic patterns in yard.
- Perform general office administration duties.
- Serve as a back-up cashier greeter and possibly other positions as needed.
- Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other teammates as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years previous customer service experience preferred.
- Scrap knowledge a plus.
