DescriptionThe Oracle Retail Cloud Architecture Team is part of the Oracle Retail Industry Pre Sales Team.it as acustomer-facing Retail Enterprise/Business Architect / Solution Architectfocused onend-to-end Oracle value across lines of business (Finance Supply Chain Commerce Data/AI ertc.).Always first to embrace change we areused to architect and message the solution that will deliver the absolute best value to an existing customer or prospect. Our role will be varied and fit to each engagement typically involving the activities below:
- Develop relationships as a consultant and business advisor to the Oracle sales organization
- Working alongside pre-sales teams to engage excite and educate prospects on their transformation
- Assist sales teams with account planning and penetration/adoption strategies
- Help drive customers towards strategic thinking that drives business results
- Drive engaging discovery interviews with customer stakeholders to help uncover pain points and to understand business processes within their organization
- Structure and manage an engagement process with customers
- Foster a business and technology innovation agenda
- Build long-term architecture relationship with customer at the chief Architect/CTO level
- Build the account through many smaller engagements
- Identify and develop potential larger opportunities
- Co-ordinate all aspects of the solution (business and technical) into a cohesive solution architecture

Qualifications and experience
- A proven and enthusiastic high-energy naturally curious and problem-solving individual who is visibly passionate and capable of inspiring others
- Prior experience in presenting AI and Data Platforms solutions in the Retail Industry
- Strong understanding of a sales processes
- 5+ years across sales/presales and consulting positions
- 5+ years experience in implementing designing or selling AI driven solutions
- Wide knowledge of IT market and trends
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions including components of Finance Supply Chain Commerce and Digital Transformation
- Business level English and German required; additional languages desirable
- Education to BS degree or equivalent is required; advanced degree desirable
The role requires national and international travel around 25% to 50% of the time.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading pre-sales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Well organized and exceptional team player your focus will be on large or complex sales opportunities requiring to solve some of the most complex retail business problems. You will be in charge of the development and delivery of outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations and will ensure the consistency and relevance of the message delivered to the customer or prospect across all of Oracle solutions. Throughout the engagement you will advise internal and external clients on overall solution architecture and lead the technical architecture aspects of the sales opportunity.
