The Role

Proofpoints Pricing team sits within the Product Marketing department andis responsible forpricing initiatives across all products and services. The team is looking for a Jr Pricing Analyst intern to add to our team. This role will be pivotal in managing our pricing and product information.

As an internyoullhave the opportunity to learn about our pricing strategy competitive pricingintelligenceand how to use tools like Salesforce.Youllbe responsible forcreating andmaintainingprice books across various channels ensuring our sales partners and distributors pricing sheets are up to date. Communication is key asyoullbe thepointperson for conveying pricing updates to different channel teams and resolving any SKU or pricing-related issues with our addition your role involvesmaintainingour existing product data template and aiding in the implementation of SKU automation tools. Beyond pricing and product datayoullbe responsible forbuilding andmaintaininga competitive database. This entails gathering competitive pricing intelligence for both existing and new products and services keeping us well-informed about market dynamics.

Qualifications

Experience with SQL preferred

Proficient in Excel

Ability to use Power Query preferred

Comfortable working with large data sets
