Job Summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Infrastructure Central Finance team. This team is responsible for planning and tracking billions of dollars of investments and operating expenses in data centers servers and networking equipment and that allow AWS to serve customers across the globe.
This role will be responsible for driving insights and analysis that will help shape the AWS investment strategy in servers inclusive Generative AI. The successful candidate be part of a team to build scalable analyses key performance indicators and insights that will be shared with AWS Business and Finance Leadership to inform decision making. This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders in finance product development and supply chain across the organization to align on critical inputs ranges of outcomes and confidence intervals. This is a high judgment role that has direct exposure to Amazons C-suite and board of directors requiring someone who can execute without structured guidance navigate ambiguity and effectively deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed infrastructure capital and spending forecasts; track actual spending and bridge variances; partner with stakeholders to identify and communicate insights and business risks to senior leaders.
-Identify opportunities for simplifying or automating processes with upstream and downstream stakeholders to eliminate defects and reduce lead time to build reports and insights
-Coordinate and track the development of infrastructure goals and strategic projects; identify and communicate insights and business risks to leaders.
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
