Job Description
The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham ( UAB ) seeks a faculty candidate for its musculoskeletal ( MSK ) imaging section. The Department of Radiology consists of 109 faculty including 19 physicists and PhD researchers. The MSK section consists of eight faculty members who are responsible for a wide variety of diagnostic tests and procedures with access to state-of-the-art equipment in CT ultrasound MRI and fluoroscopy in inpatient and outpatient facilities. Candidates should have an interest in teaching medical students residents and fellows. Willingness to perform image-guided procedures is required. The ideal candidate will have keen clinical skills and an active interest in teaching service and research. Qualified applicants should be ABR -certified or eligible have completed fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging or be proficient in musculoskeletal imaging and diagnostic radiology and must be eligible to practice medicine in Alabama.
