Job Summary
Subject to formal establishment Joint Boarding process and sS Policies a vacancy will arise for a OF2 to serve asSO3 Project Team Lead Footprint and Ops in the Integrated Global Defence Network (IGDN) on FTRS HC Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 01 May 26.
Unit Function:
IGDN commands supports and assures the UKs Permanent Joint Operating Bases (PJOBs) to deliver and enable operations protect sovereignty and develop global hubs as strategic capabilities.
Position Role:
Sector Lead: Footprint & Operational Effectiveness
Responsibilities:
Lead the Baseline Footprint analysis covering Overseas Bases Defence Sections Loan Service and broader missions.
Assess location personnel infrastructure and communications to determine optimisation opportunities.
Evaluate integration potential of non-IGDN entities (e.g. NATO BDSUS Exchange Officers).
Develop recommendations on scale location and function of the overseas network.
Engage with SMEs listed in Annexes AD to validate findings and refine proposals.
Support the drafting of the final report ensuring operational insights are clearly articulated.
