How Youll Make an Impact:

This positions core goal is to provide our Distribution team with the highest level of service possible leading to new investment mandates and outstanding asset retention. The Institutional Analyst acts as the central hub for all RFPs and provides support for both consultant databases and customized client reporting. Delivering on these requires an ability to work under pressure high attention to detail excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with internal partners as well as global peers.

What You Will Do:

  • Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
    • Respond to RFPs within service level standard and teams best practices
  • Consultant Databases
    • Populate Fidelity data into consultant databases accurately and within deadlines
    • Work with partners to ensure data and messaging are regularly reviewed
    • Respond accurately and promptly to ad-hoc information requests from Distribution team
  • Customized Client Reporting Support
    • Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly reporting for institutional clients
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners as well as partners outside of Canada
  • Product Knowledge
    • Maintain a sound level of institutional product knowledge

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in the financial services industry required
  • Experience with responding to RFPs and database knowledge required
  • Salesforce experience is an asset

Education:

  • University degree with a strong financial background or equivalent work experience
  • Progressing towards the CFA is an asset.

The Expertise You Bring:

  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail including accuracy writing style and presentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $85000 to $96000 based on your experience and qualifications.
