Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale Credit Card Initiative within a financial services environment.
This role requires deep expertise in credit card operations credit risk management regulatory compliance and enterprise system integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder management skills technical acumen and the ability to operate effectively across complex multi-platform ecosystems.
Candidates with prior experience in credit card programs financial institutions or large Canadian banks will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Domain Expertise
Lead end-to-end requirements gathering documentation and validation across:
Branch applications
Mobile platforms
Web applications
Provide deep domain expertise in:
Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.
Support technical discovery and cross-team mapping activities.
Technical & Integration Responsibilities
Perform API mapping integration analysis and technical documentation.
Analyze and document complex system ecosystems and enterprise platform interactions.
Support initiatives involving:
Cloud migration
Database migration
Provide technically informed insights across business and technology teams.
Collaborate with architecture development and QA teams to ensure requirement clarity and completeness.
Agile Delivery & Initiative Planning
Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
Break down initiatives into:
Epics
User stories
Acceptance criteria
Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to drive timely delivery.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead analysis initiatives across multiple delivery streams.
Build strong relationships with business technology and executive stakeholders.
Communicate complex technical and regulatory concepts clearly and concisely.
Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
Quickly ramp up in new domains platforms or system landscapes.
Required Qualifications
10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
Strong regulatory knowledge within banking environments.
Proven experience in:
Hands-on experience with API integrations and system mapping.
Experience supporting cloud and database migration projects.
Strong Agile delivery experience.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in digital/mobile application testing or assurance.
Background in credit card platforms digital banking or payments ecosystems.
Familiarity with financial regulatory standards and audit expectations.
Experience working within large-scale matrixed organizations.

Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
