Position Description& Responsibilities
Acts as a business partner to the siteDirectorand key member of the site leadership team providing strategic insightsand data-driven recommendations to drivePrysmian Performance System (PPS)and Kaizen culture at the side.
Steer with and ensure buy-in from Operations leadership team to develop annual Kaizen transformation roadmap tailored to site needs and aligned to regional Hoshin goals to drive improvements in key metrics such as safety quality delivery cost employeeengagementand growth.
Serves as a change agent embedding Kaizen and Lean Principlesacross all levels of thesiteand ensuring initiatives are aligned withsitegoals and sustained.
Embraces servant leadership and respectfor peopleto build collaboration and improvesustainability of process improvements.
Execute initiatives from division KPO and provides feedback onprogress.
Leads and drivesKaizen workshops/eventsensuring all relevant stakeholders are involvedandensuring measurableresultslinkedwithflowimprovementand waste eliminationfor high volume/high revenue manufacturing product groups using Lean principles.
Leadsdelivers trainingand mentorship programs on Kaizen Lean Principles and PPSfrimoperators to site leadership -to buildLean practitioners anda culture of continuous improvement.
Incorporates andmaintainsstrict compliancetoPPS anddevelopedstandards via visual and daily management.
Ensures accountability for KaizenNewspaper Action Items driving follow-through and measurable results.
Manages andmaintainsKaizen resources training materials and standard templates to support ongoing improvement efforts.
Champion the identification planning and execution ofhoshinprocessto improvesite SQDCvia Kaizen Planner.
Required Competencies Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership in Kaizen Continuous Improvement.
Proficient in Gemba Kaizen Value Stream Analysis Visual & Daily Management HoshinKanri SMED TPM Standard Work Development and 3P Layout.
Strongability tofacilitateKaizen Events on these methods and tools andhelpingtoidentifyfuture Lean minded personnel.
Proficiencyleading cost reduction and processflowimprovement initiatives.
Proficiencywith Kaizen tools such as 3P TAKT Time Standard Work Combination Sheets StandardWIPandKaizenNewspaper.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to provide leadership and strategic direction as part of the site leadership team.
Preferred Qualifications:
LeanMaster onTPSorDanaher Business System Certification.
Project management experience with a proventrack recordof meeting timelines or proactively adjusting to achieve plannedgoals.
Agilecertificationsuch asSCALE.
Change managementsuch asPROSCI certification.
Strong analytical background - SPC Hypothesis Testing Regression and Correlation Analysis.
Problem-solving skills such as 5-Whys 8D Shainin etc.
