Job Summary

Position Summary:

  • TheTransportation Specialist provides the necessary transportation services for clients to travel to and from appointments or errands as needed.
  • Services provided may include but are not limited to accompanying patients to their scheduled appointments assisting them in and out of the vehicle ensuring safety while outside their residence and following all required driving regulations under the law.
  • Will be required to use their own vehicle that is accesible to elderly clients and/or clients who have mental and/or physical deficiets requiring the assistance of another.
  • Functions under the policies and procedures of Johns Hopkins Potomac Home Support.

Shift:

PRN / On-call (Based on the Need of the Dept)

Day shift: surrounds an 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule

Location: Potomac Region

Education/ Experience

  • Associates Degree or one year experience working with seniors.
  • Course work in the field of social work activities/recreational coordination in senior facility or experience working in other community related health profession is a plus.
  • Experience with home care and older adults highly preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

  • Vaild Drivers License and Auto Insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Car that is conducive to passenger needing minimal assistance

Salary Range: Minimum 0.00/hour - Maximum 0.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
