Morning Afternoon shifts available.
Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday and Sunday available.
As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol in La Quinta CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms access control activity and resident questions with professional customer service. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet while partnering with teammates and property staff. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by following site-specific procedures access rules and security-related policies and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential streets amenities parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
- Monitor for and respond to incidents alarms disputes and suspicious activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access as assigned by checking credentials issuing visitor information directing traffic flow and/or coordinating with property management.
- Complete detailed patrol and incident reports communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts and assist responding public services as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
