Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education Program for students withdisabilities whose IEP team has determined that in order to prevent substantialregression and reduce recoupment times the students require a longer are based on individual needs to address IEP goals and RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Supervise consult and collaborate with Speech-Language Assistant(s) (SLPAs) as needed.2. Provide speech and language services for students on an Individualized Education Program.3. Communicate student progress based on data collected to parents/guardians and school personnel.4. Deliver effective instruction and fulfill all professional responsibilities5. Willingness to be trained in and use positive behavior support strategies.6. Complete any other duty or assignments as directed by the Director of Special Education/ESY Coordinator
