A Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in York (ages 1118) is seeking a passionate and energetic Music Teacher (ECT) to join their Creative Arts Department.

The Role
As a Music ECT you will:
Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 with opportunities to support GCSE coursework.
Deliver practical lessons that develop performance composition and listening skills.
Lead or support extracurricular activities such as choirs bands or ensembles.
Contribute to concerts productions music clubs and enrichment events.
Receive comprehensive mentoring and training during your ECT induction.
Requirements
Completing a PGCE or equivalent and holding QTS.
Strong musical background (instrumental or vocal).
Passion for inspiring young musicians and fostering creativity.
Strong organisation and classroom management skills.
A positive enthusiastic and reflective attitude.
