Job Summary

About the role

This is a Floating Support Worker Role where you will provide a drop-in service for individuals in need of immediate support around homelessness prevention housing crisis budgeting and navigating the complexities of welfare benefits.

You will work alongside Codi colleagues and the Council team to equip individuals we support with the knowledge and tool required to manage their home independently. This is a challenging role and you may be faced with complex situations and difficult conversations behaviours and needs. Therefore you will need to be organised well prepared and creative. The ideal candidate will have some experience of providing one to one support to people in a housing support related environment.

  • A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
  • An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to peoples lives
  • A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
  • Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

Pay and Pensions

  • 24531.00 FTE (12.75 per hour)
  • Pension Choices:
