Job description:
Alfa Romeo/Maserati Englewood Cliffs is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our service department. We seek a motivated professional and customer-focused individual who excels at communication organization and building strong customer relationships in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Pay: Competitive base salary performance-based incentives $85-$140k
Schedule: MondayFriday 8-6pm
About the Role
As a Service Advisor you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing vehicles in for service and repairs. You will greet guests listen to concerns accurately document vehicle issues provide clear cost and time estimates and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely high-quality repairs. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal skills a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to manage multiple service orders and priorities while maintaining accurate records in the dealership management system.

Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally; listen to and document vehicle concerns
Provide accurate repair estimates recommended services and clear explanations of work to customers
Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow between service advisors technicians and parts
Maintain accurate and timely repair orders customer communications and service status updates in the DMS/CRM
Work with technicians to prioritize jobs obtain approvals for additional repairs and ensure quality control
Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction explain completed work and promote maintenance plans
Meet or exceed individual and department performance goals including revenue and customer satisfaction metrics
Perform additional duties as assigned to support service department operations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling or ASE education is a plus
Previous experience as a service advisor service writer or in dealership/customer-facing automotive roles preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer-service orientation
Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally to customers
Proficient with computers DMS/CRM systems and basic office software
Detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor problem-solving mindset and ability to work as part of a team
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
