We are looking for candidates based in the Kingscliff Ballina & Byron Bay areas including those with trade technical and hands on practical backgrounds who may be considering a career change. People with experience in plumbing carpentry electrical work construction civils hospitality customer service manufacturing and similar fields have been highly successful in this position.

A bit about your role
As a Customer Field Technician in the Kingscliff Ballina & Byron Bay areas you will work independently on customer service field tasks across a range of nbn technologies. This role involves installation repair maintenance and direct customer interaction primarily within homes and business premises.

Your day may include tasks such as installing copper and fibre cabling completing customer premises equipment installations diagnosing and repairing faults and providing a high level of customer service. Working hours fall between 7am and 7pm with flexibility applied based on business needs. Training tools and ongoing support will be provided.

A bit about you
Previous telecommunications experience is not required. We will teach you the technical skills required. What matters most is your ability to work with your hands solve problems and communicate well with customers.

You may have a background in a trade handson technical role or a customerfocused environment. Experience from trades such as plumbing carpentry electrical work general labouring construction mechanical work hospitality or manufacturing is highly valued.

You should be comfortable working independently managing your time and taking pride in delivering quality work. Strong communication skills and a current and clean Drivers Licence are also important.
