Job Summary
Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

JOB SUMMARY:
This Special Events intern will go behind the scenes to help Universals Food & Beverage team deliver world class Special Events like Halloween Horror Nights Mardi Gras and more.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates global content documentation verbal and written communication including but not limited to executive presentations.
- Participates in field work and hands on training.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Preferred majors include: Hospitality Management Food Services Hospitality/Tourism.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including but not limited to: Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
