As a Security Officer - VehiclePatrol Driver Gated Community in Ladera Ranch CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community you will complete routine vehicle patrols stay highly visible and report security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service to residents and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests vendors and/or visitors by following post orders site-specific policies and security-related procedures including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential streets common areas amenities and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or property concerns.
- Respond to alarms calls for service disturbances and/or other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with property management and local emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and community rules compliance assisting with visitor entry procedures parking concerns and/or after-hours checks in accordance with site guidelines.
- Document patrol activity incidents and observations in written reports and logs including taking statements and preserving information for follow-up when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
