EY GDS - Data and Analytics Snowflake Senior

Within EYs Advisory Practice Data and Analytics team solves big complex issues and capitalize on opportunities to deliver better working outcomes that help expand and safeguard the businesses now and in the future. This way we help create a compelling business case for embedding the right analytical practice at the heart of clients decision-making.

The opportunity

Were looking for a candidate with overall 3 5 years of experience and he/she should have strong expertise into cloud data engineering using Snowflake. Design develop and maintain ETL workflows and data integration solutions using Talend. Ensure data accuracy integrity and performance across multiple systems.

Key skills required for the role (Primary):

3 to 5 years of experience in Data warehouses.
Strong proficiency in SQL (window functions performance tuning)
Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
Knowledge of file formats (Parquet Avro JSON)
Understanding of data warehouse architecture and dimensional modelling
Essential DevOps practices like commits pull requests code versioning etc
Strong communication and analytical skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in SQL development and data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
Prior experience with SnowConvert for code conversion and migration.
Strong knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Understanding of Snowflake architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
Snowflake Certified (SnowPro Core or Advanced) added advantage.
Familiarity with Cortex for data analytics and processing added advantage.
Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Understanding of data modeling and performance tuning in Snowflake.

Skills and attributes for success
