About You
The Research Assistant will undertake research activities in line with the Universitys research strategy.
It is expected that the Research Assistant will workwith an increasing degree of autonomy as skills and experience develop.
To be successful in this position youwillhave:
Evidence of research output including publications conferencecontributionsand/or technical reports in the field.
Ability to generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
Ability to work autonomously whilst displaying a strong commitment to work in a team environment including the demonstrated ability toconfidently and effectively work with colleagues project team leaders and industry partners.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities as
Demonstratedhighlevel of communication skills
Demonstratedhands-on experience in interface electronics for sensor readout systems including ASIC and SoC design and verification.
Strong experience in hardwarefirmware co-design for data acquisition and processing pipelines including FPGA-based prototyping embedded firmware development (C/C) and real-time data capture and processing.
Experience working in industry will be well regarded
