About The Role:

The Mater Hospitalhas an innovative and progressive Orthopaedic department with some surgeries utilising Robotics. There are 4 orthopaedic wards including our rehabilitation ward. We care for patients following knee and hip replacements shoulder spine and foot surgery as well as sports injuries.
Our experienced team of health care professionals care givers and support staff are equipped to provide the highest level of therapeutic medical and surgical services.
We are one of Australias leading orthopaedic hospitals and the only Australian hospital to be admitted into the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.

About You:

Essential Criteria:

Current AHPRA registration.
Bachelors in nursing
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation nursing.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and deliver quality patient care.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.

Desirable:

Previous Orthopaedic or rehabilitation nursing experience.

About The Mater:

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital North Sydney.

One of Sydneys premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney St Leonards and Crows Nest and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements bone and sports injuries cardiology cancer care and surgery lung and vascular medicine ear nose and throat surgery urology endocrine surgery and neurosurgery.
