Position Overview
Seeking a motivated X-Ray Technician to support the Orthopedics department in a high-volume hospital setting. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiation protection standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment
Maintain radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
Ensure high-quality imaging for orthopedic evaluations
Document procedures accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare staff
Provide compassionate patient care and education
Requirements
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
New York State L.R.T License Required
ARRT Certification Required
02 years of experience accepted
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety standards
