JOB SUMMARY:
The Producer Intern will gain comprehensive hands on experience supporting the full spectrum of creative production within the MarComm Creative Production team. They will have the opportunity to work in a fully-enclosed production agency which will give them access to shadow Content Creators Editors Art Directors and the various positions that are needed to pull off our large scope of work. Under the mentorship of experienced producers the intern will learn how to support pre production production and post production workflows while contributing to active projects and campaigns.
This internship is designed to prepare a student for a long term career in production. Through real world training the intern will develop skills in planning shoots building schedules and budgets coordinating with internal partners assisting on set managing creative assets and supporting post production processes.
By the end of the internship the goal is for the intern to gain the confidence knowledge and practical abilities necessary to step into roles such as Production Coordinator or Associate Producer upon graduation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in creating and distributing call sheets and pre-production communications.
- Support producers in building budgets and production schedules.
- Help coordinate and organize location scouts with internal partners.
- Serve as a production assistant on shoot days.
- Take stock of props backgrounds and creative inventory.
- Scan organize and catalog releases.
- Assist with Food & Beverage post-production photography workflow.
- Collaborate with producers and cross-functional teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include Media Production Film & Media Studies Digital Media Mass Communication Communication Marketing Journalism or related.
- Coursework in Media Production Film Communication Digital Media Marketing or related fields.
- Interest in creative production and storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of production workflows.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
