We are looking for a Senior Asset Manager to join our Egg Power London Office

Job Summary: The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational phase of the utility scale renewable energy projects with an initial portfolio size of some 232 MW.
The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for maximising the technical commercial and financial performance of a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV assets. The role oversees day-to-day operations contractor performance regulatory compliance and long-term optimisation strategies. Working closely with O&M providers landowners grid operators technical advisors and internal investment teams the Senior Asset Manager ensures assets operate safely reliably and profitably throughout their lifecycle.
This position requires strong technical understanding across PV systems combined with commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
Lead site operations to ensure safe efficient and compliant working practices. Oversee daily plant performance maintenance scheduling incident response and KPI delivery across availability performance and cost efficiency. Ensure all activities comply with safety rules legislation and internal procedures.
2. Performance & Asset Optimisation
Monitor system data to identify trends faults and improvement opportunities. Drive root cause analysis corrective actions and predictive and preventative maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and enhance asset life. Regularly review key equipment performance to address systemic issues.
Evaluate opportunities for repowering equipment upgrades and technology improvements.
Lead root-cause investigations related to plant underperformance or recurring failures.
Support long-term degradation modelling and asset-life extension planning.
Review SCADA system data and propose enhancements or advanced monitoring solutions.
3. Contractual and Commercial Management
Manage O&M PPA land lease and service contracts ensuring compliance with commercial terms.
Handle contractual disputes claims and performance LDs where applicable.
Support renegotiation or replacement of service providers based on performance and portfolio needs.
Review and challenge O&M reports maintenance logs and root-cause analyses.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance and quality.

Support contract review and negotiation for new assets or transitions.
4. Commercial & Financial Oversight
Track plant revenues operating costs and budget variance across the portfolio.
Support annual budget preparation and long-term operational expenditure planning.
Coordinate with finance teams on revenue reconciliation PPAs metering and settlement issues.
Keep a track of latest innovations in the industry and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.
5. Regulatory Compliance & HSE
Ensure compliance with grid codes environmental permits land leases and local regulations.
Oversee implementation of HSE policies and safety standards across all service providers.
Maintain documentation for audits inspections and regulatory reviews.
Ensure assets meet reporting obligations to authorities and stakeholders including offtakers lenders sponsor etc.
6. Stakeholder Management
Act as the key point of contact for landowners grid operators insurers and external advisors.
Provide monthly quarterly and annual performance reporting to investors and management.
Support insurance claims loss-adjuster processes and technical investigations.
7. Technical Support for M&A Financing & Investment
Provide asset-level data performance history and technical insights for refinancing or portfolio transactions.
Assess operational condition and risks of potential acquisition targets.
Support technical due diligence and provide recommendations to investment teams.
8. ESG Sustainability & Data Reporting
Lead on ESG reporting requirements including biodiversity actions land management and carbon performance indicators.
Ensure data quality for corporate reporting and digital asset management platforms.
Support procurement teams for compliance with ESG/sustainability requirements of the customers and egg Power.

Qualifications & Experience
Relevant years of experience in solar PV asset management operations or related fields.
Strong technical understanding of PV systems inverters SCADA systems and HV equipment.
Proven experience managing O&M contractors and interpreting technical performance data.
Relationships with different service providers in the renewable industry.
Familiarity with PPAs land leases grid codes and operational contracts.
Experience with financial models operating budgets and revenue reporting.
Strong project management analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
