Job Description Summary
Avio Aero a GE Aerospace company is a leading player in the aeronautics sector specializing in the design manufacture and maintenance of components and propulsion systems for civil and military aircraft engines.
The Maintenance Leader will oversee all activities related to installation maintenance repair and improvement of building and production equipment as well as activities related to utilities (electricity gas water etc).
This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong experience in complex maintenance operations capable of driving continuous improvement while managing business priorities to efficiently meet customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the team (including contractors) to achieve business reliability targets continually improving asset availability metrics
- Create and maintain a safe work environment based on open communication promoting a culture where every employee feels responsible for their own safety and the safety of others and can freely report any concerns and suggestions for improving working conditions promote Stop Work authority
- Ensure Compliance with Health Safety and Environmental Regulations
- Proactively assess occupational risks and environmental impacts minimizing the risk of accidents and the use of natural resources during the implementation of changes and improvements
- Define and manage resources required to deliver business targets
- Partner with functional service providers to ensure high level service provision to the team in support of business target achievement
- Ensure compliance levels are aligned with company standards
- Promotion of FLIGHT DECK (GE Aerospace propriety Lean operating system) principles and active use of methodologies to continually improve attainable standards
- Develop and implement talent development plans engage and retain high-potential talent and manage team performance and career growth
- Ensure effective communication to the team and from the team
- Motivate team to be actively engaged in Lean activities
- Motivate team to be actively engaged in ERG activities
- Support the budgetary process and manage to achieve final budgetary targets
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in a leadership role within maintenance operations across a variety of processes (eg machining heat treatment manual assembly as well as special processes)
- Deep knowledge and practical experience of Reliability Centered Maintenance
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Possess (or able to gain) knowledge and supervisory qualifications for overseeing employees working on energy installations
- Fluency in Polish and English
