Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location: Detroit MI

Facility Overview: Join a leading healthcare institution in Detroit that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This full-time position as a CRNA at one of Michigans premier Level 1 trauma centers offers a dynamic inpatient clinical environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and professional growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver anesthesia care for diverse inpatient surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists surgeons and perioperative staff.
  • Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
  • Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
  • Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Work day shifts only with no weekend or on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
  • Active Michigan RN License (must have in hand).
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Clean malpractice/license history.
  • Demonstrated CRNA work experience.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call.
  • Must specify visa status (H1B and J1 accepted).
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) REQUIRED
  • Active Michigan RN License REQUIRED
  • BLS and ACLS Certification REQUIRED
