Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the Cape Town

Supervise daily on-site construction activities

Coordinate subcontractors artisans and general labour teams.

Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

Allocate tasks and monitor productivity

Enforce compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations

Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.

Ensure proper use of PPE on site.

Report and investigate incidents and near-misses.

Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with SANS standards and project specifications.

Identify and rectify defects promptly.

Liaise with engineers and inspectors regarding quality issues.

Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.

Check deliveries against orders and specifications.

Ensure equipment is maintained and used properly.

Maintain daily site diaries and progress reports.

Record labour attendance and timesheets.

Provide regular progress updates to Site/Project Manager.

Assist with planning and scheduling activities.

Requirements

Grade 12

Trade Certificate / qualification in Construction or related field

510 years construction experience.

Minimum 35 years in a supervisory/foreman role.

Experience in commercial and industrial projects

Valid drivers license
