About the Role
Our client is seeking a candidate to coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin countries to final destinations manage import documentation and customs clearance and communicate with carriers brokers agents and internal departments.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
- Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) FMC and other regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with carriers customs brokers overseas agents and internal departments.
- Track trace and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
- Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in the internal system.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree.
- Korean & English bilingual.
- Experience in ocean import operations or international freight forwarding (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight documentation Incoterms and customs processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
