An exciting opportunity has arisen within Turbines for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager based in Bristol.
The BTF is a co-located casting and machining facility specialising in the manufacture of Nozzle Guide Vanes for Civil Large Engine Defence and Business Jet Engine portfolio. The Bristol Turbine Factory is also responsible for a significant amount of Product Introduction and capital expenditure for strategic growth as part of the Canaveral Programme.
As Bristol Turbines Facility Manufacturing Engineering Manager you will work closely with the Head of Manufacturing and the Planning and Control Manager to lead the facility. You will demonstrate technical expertise in Machining or Casting and/or associated manufacturing technologies including Coating and an in-depth knowledge of the Rolls Royce Quality Management System so that you can act as Technical Authority and engineering lead for the facility. You will be responsible for integrating all Manufacturing Engineering activity across the Bristol Turbines Facility value streams and integration with supplier and customer technical teams. You will lead manage and develop the Manufacturing Engineering community in the facility and be responsible for professional alignment of the team to the ME function.
