Job Summary
About the position
We are looking for a hands-on EDI Business Consultant to join our Business Systems & Processes team. You will support and optimize EDI interfaces enable system-to-system integration and work across global SCM processes. You will also manage key B2B interfaces with customers and suppliers driving automation and operational this role you act as a bridge between business and IT ensuring smooth SCM operations and connecting business needs with technology solutions.
What you will do
System & EDI Support: Support and lead EDI and system-related projects including defining business requirements and functional specifications in collaboration with IT and cross-functional business teams.
B2B Management: Manage and optimize EDI interfaces with customers and suppliers capturing and translating business requirements for B2B integration.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in SCM processes and implement solutions to enhance automation and accuracy working closely with Site SCM Logistics and Business Planning teams.
Business Representation: Represent the business in supply chain management projects related to EDI aligned with the SCM roadmap or local management directives.
Testing & Implementation: Evaluate and test system and process changes implement solutions and communicate updates to stakeholders including end users and operational teams.
Documentation & Training: Document new processes procedures and training materials; provide guidance and training to end users to optimize system use.
Operational Support: Ensure continuous service of operational systems provide first-line support for EDI-related questions and assist with ad hoc tasks.
What you will need
Bachelors degree in Business Administration IT/Communication Technology Logistics or a related field.
Minimum 2 yrs. of professional experience in EDI interfaces supply chain integration and process improvement.
Strong understanding of messaging standards (e.g. EDIFACT Rosettanet AS2).
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems; SAP certification is a plus.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
