Please read below for additional details and let us know if you have the skills and experience we are looking for by submitting your of the Position:Reporting to the Manager Financial Planning & Analysis the Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the financial planning and analysis function. The primary focus is on making significant contributions through a period of innovative change within the financial planning and analysis function that will see an expansion of financial modelling and long-term forecasting budgetary planning and analysis cash-flow forecasting data driven decision making and visual reporting. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst the Financial Reporting Team and the Business Analyst supporting the Finance function and will have interface with all other departments in the Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis:Works closely with the finance team to build and design the processes around maintaining various models specific to the financial planning and analysis function including but not limited to:5-year forecasting modelLong-term facilities planning modelVarious strategic projectsKey contributor to the annual budgetary and ongoing forecasting process including recommending improvements and implementing best practices as closely with Financial Reporting team around enhancing and delivering month-end and quarterly variance analysis including incorporation of key operational presents financial opportunities and risk mitigation strategies as to key automation projects which may include projects such as: the replacement of the accounting software system integration of the financial software with other critical systems and a centralized data management solution implementation of visual financial dashboarding tools consultation to the organization as needed for the financial planning and analysis closely with the Business Analyst Digital Transformation to identify prioritize and implement improvements to the financial planning and analysis & Treasury:Contributes to improvements to the active monitoring of the short medium and long term cash flow forecasts and the investing :Contributes to the strategic direction of the financial planning and analysis to a culture of innovation teamwork agility and idea demonstrating behaviors supporting diversity equity and inclusion and workplace health safety and wellness within the finance team and on any cross-functional working exceptional standards of ethics professionalism and five star internal and external customer service data technology and automation to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance supportive and trusting relationships across all functions of the organization to ensure the financial planning and analysis function is providing value-added support to the other duties as and Skill Required for the Position:Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) plus a minimum of 5 years experience in finance accounting and/or investments three years of which must be in a financial planning and analysis function; or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the employer. Relevant experience includes but is not limited to the following:Financial modelling and analysis including excel skills and willingness to learn best practices in budget planning forecasting and variance analysis with data analytics and data for continuous -starter who enjoys proactively generating evaluating and implementing new ideas and making ability to navigate environment of competing communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all to successfully address and resolve level of comfort with for technology and analytical and decision-making ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member with minimum harmony with the vision mission and strategic directions of the BC to apply:If you are interested in being a part of our team we would like to hear from you.
