As a Project Manager Intern at SOCAN the intern will be supporting the BI team by optimizing our DevOps environment coordinating agile rituals maintaining a healthy and well defined backlog and translating team progress into clear business insights. They will streamline workflows facilitate sprint ceremonies ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are complete and build dashboards that track key performance metrics such as lead time sprint velocity and burndown trends. Through this work they will help improve team efficiency transparency and overall delivery YOULL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevOps Environment Optimization. To conduct an audit of the current board structure and lead the migration to a standardized workflow. This includes mapping out state transitions ( Progress to Peer Review) automating ticket movements and ensuring the board reflects the actual lifecycle of a BI Coordination & act as a Junior Scrum Masterfacilitatingdaily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives. The goal is to keep the team focused on the sprint goal document blockers and ensure that action items from retrospectives areactually implementedin the next Grooming & Requirement Mapping. Working closely with the team the intern will ensure the backlog is healthy. This involveschasing downmissing details for user stories ensuring acceptance criteria are clearly defined and flagging tickets that have been stagnant for too long to keep the pipeline Analysis & Progress Reporting. The intern will be responsible for translating technical progress into business will build andmaintaindashboards that track key metrics like: Lead Time: How long it takes for a feature to go from idea to production. Sprint Velocity: How much work the teamcan realisticallyhandle.
