Job Description
As a Security Officer - Full-Time Facility Patrol in ST JOSEPH MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams document observations and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors contractors and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and post orders at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas tank farms warehouses parking lots and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious conditions.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification verifying authorization issuing visitor credentials and documenting deliveries and/or contractor arrivals per site requirements.
- Complete detailed incident reports daily activity logs and patrol documentation and communicate observations to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
