As a Security Officer - Realty Patrol Rover Nights in South San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors respond to concerns and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating conflicts and requesting assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies office areas parking areas and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity checking credentials as required and directing guests to the proper destination.
• Complete accurate reports and logs for incidents patrol activity and/or unusual conditions and communicate key information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A state county and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
