Job Summary
W LONDON - CONTROL YOUR BEAT
Located in Soho W London owns the stage in the epicentre of the citys cultural core. Plugged in to the pulse of Londons energetic social scene this is where louder-than-life Soho mixes with the glitzy West End.
- Oversees the hotels physical plant including mechanical systems refrigeration HVAC plumbing water treatment and electrical systems.
- Ensures full compliance with all regulatory building and safety standards.
- Manages utilities (heat light power) identifying opportunities for energy conservation and operational efficiency.
- Develops specifications for service contracts and manages vendor relationships.
- Assigns preventative maintenance and repair work orders ensuring timely and highquality completion.
- Oversees maintenance of guestrooms public areas backofhouse spaces F&B venues hotel vehicles and recreational facilities.
- Creates and delivers longterm preventative maintenance and asset protection plans.
- Leads renovation and construction projects from planning to ontime onbudget completion.
- Manages tender processes contractor performance and compliance with project guidelines.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with local authorities (building/zoning fire bureau contractors and vendors).
- Ensures the fire team understands all emergency procedures equipment and alarm systems.
- Performs monthly property inspections and regular room/public space checks to ensure premium standards.
- Evaluates the physical condition of facilities to determine required maintenance or upgrades.
- Recommends and coordinates additional services including painting repairs renovations and replacement of furnishings/equipment.
- Manages procurement of equipment supplies and furnishings.
- Controls parts and inventory management.
- Ensures all building licenses inspections and certifications are up to date.
- Oversees the maintenance and functionality of all life safety systems including firefighting equipment sprinklers and alarm systems.
- Demonstrates leadership in guest hospitality fostering a positive and elevated guest experience.
- Reviews guest feedback satisfaction scores and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Partners with hotel leadership to implement action plans that elevate guest satisfaction.
- Continuously drives improvements in service delivery and operational performance.
