Job Summary

Logistics Specialist

Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Shanghai China.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for communicating with PI/PMs/lab &Sourcing/Procurement to prepare all the import/export permits. E.g. CIQ risk assessment CITES CFDA etc.
  • Be responsible for Customs clearance of shipments.
  • Be responsible for the domestic shipments.
  • Checking billing list and finishing check requests for Logistics related vendors monthly.
  • Document all transportation service failures resolve and escalate to management when appropriate resolution is incomplete.
  • Monitoring and tracking of all shipments in China including Inbound Outbound SM and direct shipments.
  • Providing precise and reliable feedback to management on specific Courier performance or issues.
  • Document properly all Logistics related files.
  • Cross trained with CLS & BioA activity.
  • Ensuring information on import permits are applied accurately.
  • Ability to interact with couriers.
  • Ability to express complicated cases to management seeking support.
  • Follow SOPs to guarantee compliance uniformity and standardization.
  • Assist the Manager within the department with administrative tasks as assigned (e.g. Tracking Shipments post-inspections from governments).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Economics or Business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical industry logistics or compliance.

Additional Job Standards:

  • Fluent in English Speaking Writing and Reading.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • For Logistics Contingencies related purposes the incumbent may be requested to work during holidays and weekends.
