As a Reclamation Technical Advisor you will be responsible for providing expertise in environmental science and regulations to support asset retirement and regulatory closure in the upstream oil and gas industry across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Operating in a diverse and competitive environment this position will take a client-centred approach to foster relationships ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with others to maintain a high service of delivery for continued growth and success. This position will take a proactive approach to work by identifying and improving processes and trends with a priority focus on health & safety. What would you be doing
- Provide technical expertise on environmental science regulatory requirements and asset retirement/closure processes.
- Advise Project Managers clients and regulators with strategic guidance and strong relationship management.
- Review Detailed Site Assessments and closure applications for accuracy and compliance with Alberta and Saskatchewan regulations; author technical reports as required.
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop integrated compliant solutions.
- Improve processes and support administrative tasks (claims invoices documentation) while contributing to additional projects as needed.

Qualifications :
- Extensive experience (10 years) in environmental consulting specializing in reclamation Detailed Site Assessments and regulatory closure applications within upstream oil & gas.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Alberta and Saskatchewan reclamation criteria and proficiency with regulatory portals such as OneStop EDS and IRIS.
- Excellent communication collaboration and leadership abilities including mentoring junior staff and building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Proven problem-solving skills proactive initiative and a strong commitment to health safety and regulatory compliance.
- Holds a diploma or degree in environmental science/engineering and relevant professional designations (e.g. PAg . ) with practice areas in reclamation in Alberta or Saskatchewan; dual designation considered an asset.
