How you will create an impact

Lead a Team of Examiners in addition to managing your own small portfolio of claims. Our Claims team are the proven problem solvers of choice for clients delivering consistent technical excellence and showcasing our service differentiation to create an unparalleled global claims handling experience. Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership we take pride in delivering responsive fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.

Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

• Day to day management of the AIG Express Claims team (7 Examiners) Broker and Client experience and the successful delivery of our evolving new service models to support the growth in our Commercial DUA network.
• Assume responsibility for day-to-day management of appropriate TPAs (namely Risksmart) and the AIG SME portfolio (i.e. Flow) segments.
• Execution of new AIG repair models (Do & Charge Desktop Assessment Quote & Repair Virtual Assessing)
• Operational support/oversight of our TPA & DUA Partners (referrals sharing of knowledge adherence to KPIs)

What youll need to succeed

• You are an experienced Claims Leader in both Property and Casualty claims within the intermediated market.
• Market leading specialist knowledge in Property and Casualty technical claims
• Expert policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation
• Experience in negotiation mediation arbitration and ADR skills
• Experience in conducting technical claims audits and effectively following up on findings
• Ability to drive outcomes in a proactive manner
• Situational adaptation in approach to achieve positive outcomes
• Appreciation of different stakeholders interests both internally and externally with a willingness to assist as required
• Open minded inclusive and reasonableness in approach in dealings with all claim related parties
• Graduate Diploma of General Insurance (or equivalent) preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Finance Business Management Legal Engineering or Similar preferred
