Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Cabinet Project Engineer to join our engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design technical specification and structural optimization of industrial electrical cabinets and control systems ensuring the highest standards of safety functionality and regulatory compliance:
- Develop and review comprehensive electrical cabinet schematics and all related technical documentation;
- Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and detailed manufacturing dossiers to ensure a smooth transition from design to production;
- Provide high-level technical assistance to the assembly and production teams resolving technical queries on the shop floor;
- Identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and project industrialization;
- Ensure all electrical designs and assemblies strictly adhere to IEC and other applicable international standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Electromechanical Engineering or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematic;
- Strong proficiency in electrical schematics and hands-on experience with electrical CAD (tools EPLAN AutoCAD Electrical);
- Previous experience within an electrical cabinet manufacturing environment is highly preferred;
- Solid knowledge of IEC standards and industrial manufacturing best practices;
- Experience in an industrial environment;
- English: Professional proficiency is mandatory;
- Knowledge of French is a significant advantage;
- A collaborative mindset analytical thinking and the ability to thrive in a dynamic industrial environment.
