Heavy Equipment Operator

Supports resort operations teams and facilities by performing equipment operation duties focused on projects preventive maintenance and work orders.

As Heavy Equipment Operator you will:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Store heavy equipment safely and securely
• Maintain a clean and presentable workplace
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment being used
• Repair any issues that are found with erosion on property
• Maintain proper erosion control and keep retaining ponds clean
• Direct material handling or moving activities
• Inspect material-moving equipment to detect problems
• Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition
• Maintain professional knowledge or certifications

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a resort or commercial environment
• Must possess two to four years related experience and/or training
• 2 years in handling and operating equipment in a resort or commercial environment
• Must have a valid Drivers license
• CDL Preferred
• Must be competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation & operating requirements
• Must have a working knowledge of grades and blueprints and working in staked areas
• Required to pass a background screen drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States
