Job Summary

JOB DUTIES:Accept embrace and promote the core values of Core Resources: Safety Sustainability and Continuous ImprovementResponsible for the installation maintenance programming and repair of all electrical systems and electrical equipment associated with coal mining and processing at the Leer Mining ComplexDesign and troubleshoot electrical systems communication networks and tracking systemsServe as a technical resource - teach train and qualify othersInstall maintain repair overhaul calibrate and test a wide variety of industrial instrumentation that record indicate control and regulate level flow pressure temperature and positionMust keep current with new technologies as they apply to the mining industryMust have the ability and experience to complete projects independentlyMust be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projectsUncompromising focus on working safelyOther duties as assigned outside electrical/programming dutiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent analytical skills5 years of experience working as an electrician in miningMSHA Electrical Card Experience working with low medium and high voltage equipment components and systemsExperience with schematics and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting and repair purposesKnowledge of and experience with surface and underground high voltage distributionExperience with PLCs and HMI software in industrial controlsExperience performing conduit workKnowledge of motor controls and low voltage process controlsStrong organizational skills excellent interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work effectively with othersPOSITION REPORTS TO: Plant SuperintendentQualified candidates interested in this position should e-mail resume to Bill Haines at
