What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors while carrying out security procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a residential community location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings amenities common areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor and help manage access through gates parking areas and community entry points by observing traffic flow checking authorization when required and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents alarms and resident concerns in a calm problem-solving manner; request additional support from Allied Universal supervision and/or emergency services when warranted.
- Document patrols incidents and noteworthy observations in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
