Job Summary

Responsible for designing developing integrating and verifying control systems for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) in the Engines & Power Systems (EPS) business unit. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Working with a team to develop control system components (LRUs) and electronic controller for a new APU program.
Executing and documenting trade studies.
Integrating control system with APU.
Control system requirements development analysis decomposition and validation.
Develop and implement control algorithms and software for APUs.
Control system design integration and validation.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

You Must Have:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
8 years of systems engineering experience in support of safety-critical aerospace development
Strong knowledge and understanding of control systems engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with control system design implementation and testing

WE VALUE
Masters degree in electrical engineering mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
Experience with control system development for aerospace applications
Knowledge of APU systems and their integration into aircraft
Experience with gas turbine engine control system components such as electronic controller fuel control lubrication module wire harness start motor oil level sensor speed sensor temperature sensors pressure sensors etc.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to control systems in aerospace applications
Experience leading diverse and global teams
Self-motivation to work with little supervision and take the initiative to complete tasks
Ability to change course based on new information and direction
Ability to multi-task
Ability to make autonomous decisions
