We have an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team of Aftermarket Operations. As SVP Business Development & Capability reporting to the Director Aftermarket Operations you will be responsible for the defining and flawlessly executing the strategy to satisfy our growing Maintenance Repair and Overhaul ambitions.

In this role you will be required to engage with senior stakeholders internally and externally to shape disruptive and novel strategies to satisfy our customer demands and secure funding streams to bring these strategies to life.

Pivotal to the role is flawlessly executing the strategy to enable key growth in our shop visit volumes whilst maintaining laser focused on reducing our shop visit cost exposure.

What you will be doing:

As SVP Business Development & Capability you will provide strategic leadership and direction for major projects in Aftermarket Operations. Define the future of one of the most ambitious and growing areas in Rolls-Royce.

  • Utilising MRO Operational insights anticipate and mitigate potential risks to delivery to key programmes and operational excellence
  • Identify internal and external customer and supply chain needs and develop a strategy to meet those needs
  • Act as an industry leader and manage key stakeholders up to and including external CEOs to influence the future of the MRO industry
  • Rigorously performance manage key projects to support delivery and MRO network adoption of key initiatives
  • Flawlessly maintain consistent governance frameworks for the delivery of the portfolio across Aftermarket Operations. Accountable for the governance and control of all investment including Capital and Engineering spend and resource for programmes

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience in senior leadership positions in the MRO industry
  • Experience in defining and executing strategies
  • Portfolio and programme management
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience of working with different cultures (countries / companies)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior management
  • Experience of leading complex projects in more than one context domain or sector across the entire programme lifecycle
